Welcome, I'm Euan Craine, an architectural designer based on the Isle of Man. Having been involved with several projects on the island, I am currently working towards full qualification as an architect.

Keen to pursue a career in the built environment, I recently completed a masters degree in architecture (M.Arch). This taught me aspects of sustainable design and urbanism; subjects which have become increasingly dominant in recent years across all sectors of industry. As well as rendering the aesthetic qualities of structures, I am also keen to optimise an ecological response through the use of modern techniques such as energy modelling. I also have a keen interest in historic existing built environment and the social history it represents, and currently have a personal ambition to restore an early 18th century water mill.

I maintain several interests in art & design, music, and transport, some of which have spawned into avenues of business in their own right. Although I do not actively pursue them, they remain a part of my life and are also a great source of inspiration when designing buildings.

I have a portfolio of work available at www.architecture.im. You can also view my Curriculum Vitae by clicking on the link below.
