Engine Modelling
One of the earliest digital models I created was a representation of a V12 motor, which shows some of my early methods of representation. I discovered that wire-frame elements enabled the viewer to interpret parts of the image that would otherwise be invisible, and materiality demonstrated with implied reflections. This is something I developed a few years later with architectural visualisations.
The engine was modelled and rendered in trueSpace (on a Windows 98 platform), software which has since been made free to use.
